PHL-VCE Seasonal Flight - Does anyone know what's happening with this?
Does anyone have a contact in AA Scheduling? My problem:
A month ago, I booked PHX-PHL, PHL-VCE for 5/2/17. PHL-VCE is a seasonal, once-a-day flight. I tracked it for months and it started up around mid-April, 2017 and consistently had award seats available. I booked it as an award on 6/6 and the ticket was issued.
I checked a few days ago and saw the first segment is there but PHL-VCE is missing. According to the AA website I can’t even buy a ticket because there are no non-stop flights PHL-VCE before May 5, 2017.
After putting me on hold, the phone rep said my reservation hasn’t been cancelled, it’s “in the queue for resolution”. She couldn’t find out the problem. The only options she offered were to cancel immediately, to pick another routing (which would involve more connections and more miles/money), another date (we have to be in Venice 5/5 for a cruise) or for me to wait for the “resolution process”.
I don’t need help with alternate routings, I just was wondering if anyone has seen a seasonal flight added to the schedule then withdrawn but not cancelled? If so, was it added back eventually?
I don’t want to change the routing then find out the flight has been added back to the schedule before 5/5/17. This is the only award routing which only has 1 connection.
So does anyone know what’s happening with the PHL-VCE flights?
