My fiancee and I will be hotel hopping in Phoenix this weekend trying to get some cheap stays in to qualify for diamond. Most hotels can be had for under $80. We'll be doing the Doubletree Paradise Valley on Saturday night since that gets good reviews on here. Any recommendations for Friday and Sunday night? The only night we won't have a car is Friday so we're looking at staying either downtown or near Tempe so we can either catch the light rail or hotel shuttle. All we really care about are nice rooms and a decent pool. The resorts look nice but the resort fee would make those properties a lot higher than other properties. We're thinking either the Doubletree or Embassy Suites Tempe for Friday since both are only $63. Any preference?
