Why all this anger?

I don't expect bag drop to open more than four hours before departure at outstations - and I've been at outstations where bag drop doesn't open until ETD-2 or even ETD -1.5 (admittedly that's for short-haul flights). If bag drop is open more than four hours before departure I consider it a bonus, but I wouldn't expect it, except at the airline's home base.

Agree YYZ isn't a pleasant airport to wait landside (it wasn't too bad until they closed all the eateries at T3), but you can always hang around the bar at the Sheraton
