BA operates a multitude of flights to NCE over the summer period from its London airports.

However, BA384/5 was a new one and not a flight I'd ever noticed in all my years.

It doesn't seem to run all the time, but it also doesn't look like a charter flight.

It flew into NCE yesterday on time, but left 3 hours late (I presume it went tech on the ground but don't know).

Would I be right in assuming that the flight has been put on to aid the recent ATC strikes, and thus help stranded passengers? Or is it simply to help the football fans watching matches in Lyon/Marseilles and Nice. I appreciate the former two have their own airports and BA flights, but NCE is far easier to find availability to.
