Just another data point... I haven't had an issue with with 53A or 53K and will be utilizing them a few more times over the coming months.

• They're near the front (meal served earlier/better choice.)
• They're near the exit doors (off the plane first/earlier.)
• They're near the facilities (what they still call the club kitchen, and the toilets.)
• They have direct aisle access (no climbing over or being climbed over.)
• They have side pods (small storage bins, and more flat surfaces.)
• (Did I miss any positives?)

With a noise cancelling headset and ear plugs, I haven't been disturbed by galley noise when trying to sleep, or when sleeping, or at any other time. Are there any other reported negatives to 53A/K?

Obviously YMMV, and you have to make your own choice, but for me, 53K is my 64K! (But then there are those who preferred 62s over the 64s on the 747.) Each to their own, horses for courses, and all that.
