Now the seat map totally makes sense, I thought for whatever coincidence on that flight pax were seated on alternate rows...but now I get it, the website is actually smart enough to make available only the rows where two adults with two infants can sit. I'm impressed!
The fact that we are now confirmed in 1A-1C further confirms that we can in fact be seated there. When I tried seating us adjacently in CW on the a380, it will not allow us and when I called they explained to me that it's because of the extra oxygen masks per row.
