Was it a telephone exchange or via email? You must use more powerful words than I do. I've had three email exchanges with them to no avail, oh wait no, yes, they gave me 1,000 points as a "Goodwill Adjustment". Didn't create too much goodwill since I see above that someone else was given 10,000 for the same reason.
