No, I wasn't. Which is the first indication I had that I had been downgraded. That is when I began the long telephone conversation with AA.
At least the e mail telling me I had been downgraded arrived within the 24-hour window. Although it advised me to "contact your travel agent" although I had booked on aa.com.
