But when I go to prefunds.aa.com it tells me "Please ensure your itinerary is cancelled in order to complete your refund request." It then tells me to go to aa.com and click on "My Trips / Check In" (two separate tabs actually).
But once having entered the information from my ticket and clicking through to My Trips, I see nowhere to cancel my travel. I see my flights, seats assigned, but nowhere to "cancel my itinerary."
This is on the AA US website. Suggestions? I do not want to be left without a refund on a technicality.
Call and tell them you want to cancel under the 24 hour refund rule.
