1. If your flight is delayed by 8 hours, do you expect your companion to wait for you?
2. We're only talking about $15 for a taxi; either of you are looking $5 for Starbucks
3. If your companion honestly requires a personal airport pickup in order to survive, he/she might not be a suitable companion
