SQ announced a few weeks back that will suspend services to South America, maybe thats the reason?

Barcelona – Sao Paulo to be Discontinued
Citing sustained weak performance, Singapore Airlines will suspend its fifth freedom Barcelona – Sao Paulo service.
Currently operated 3 times weekly, the final flight will be operated on 20 October 2016. Services between Singapore and Barcelona will continue to be flown.
