I've had a seat selected on a J booking for months and it shows 3A in "Manage My Booking" on the AY website. Today when checking in online I was allocated a different seat 5A and "my" seat (3A, still showing in my booking) was marked on the check-in seat map as occupied.
Anyone seen this before? Have I been bumped from my original seat for someone with status? Aircraft remains the same.

Any chance there has been an equipment change on your flight? I've had similar thing happening few times due to an equipment change..it seems AY IT cannot cope with these things very well..even in cases where the "same seat" is available on both old and new aircraft (or version..)
