I'm in the same boat as you. I prefer cash back over travel perks.

I think the OBC should be at the top of the list for your next card. It's an easy 2k MS profit each year with no annual fee. You can also use this card to combine with sales when riteaid/walgreens/cvs have special promotions for vgc's. IMO, there's not enough meat on the bone for me to get the blue cash preferred.

I'm thinking about getting the capital one spark card. I currently have the barclay arrival+, but my 12 months are almost up and I don't plan on paying the AF. It's nice to have a 2% cashback card in your wallet for everyday expenses. I also eventually plan on testing the waters of MS'ing on a 2% card, so I assume the spark would be the best card for the job. It also has a solid $500 signup bonus. The negative is that cap one pulls from all three bureau's, but I've heard you can freeze one and the application will still go through.

I also got the citi prestige a few months, ago b/c it has a ton of extra perks that add up to much more than your typical $500 sign on bonus for me. Especially the free rounds of golf, as I play golf quite often.
