We stayed here a month or so and ago and had a great time. The rooms seem a bit in need of renovation and I think we heard they will be doing that next year. We had the platinum breakfast buffet complimentary at the Doney restaurant each morning and preferred the Westin Rome location to the St. Regis. It's nice to be on Via Veneto. There is an inexpensive place if you need to get your hair done on Tritone called Limoni- all done in 20 mins. for 10 euros. There's a delicious gelateria called Il Come Latte close by and we recommend caramel flavor. 😀 Happy 25th!

spellbound2! Breakfast is the most important amenity for us, so I am very pleased to hear that it is still on.
Question to the FT community -- am I right in assuming that it is harder to get a suite night upgrade for a 6-7 night stay? Do you think this hotel's occupancy will be high in the latter half of November?
