Be happy with the minor delay on friday. I was on AA 106 and delayed 12 hours. I finally opted to fly next morning on BA 178 which was a smart move as AA 106 left at 11 AM on saturday.

BA 114 was delayed till 8 AM as well on friday. I think you did really well given the scenes at JFK. I slept at JFK -T7 floor along with hundred others overnight. At 4.45 AM the BA check-in opened and we got our boarding passes to proceed airside again.
