Rather than start a new thread I thought I could ask my seat selection question here. Hope that's ok.

I've had a seat selected on a J booking for months and it shows 3A in "Manage My Booking" on the AY website. Today when checking in online I was allocated a different seat 5A and "my" seat (3A, still showing in my booking) was marked on the check-in seat map as occupied.

Anyone seen this before? Have I been bumped from my original seat for someone with status? Aircraft remains the same.

Not a big deal, just interested to know what's going on. Thanks.
