Forget about a cash refund. The route you actually flew will have been more expensive.
As for the tier points, you can check out this thread. There are conflicting reports of whether AA are willing to do Original Routing Credit to BAEC. I, for example, have been waiting a couple of weeks for a response from BA as to whether they will give me the missing Avios and Tier Points.
