I have also flown on Hainan from YYZ-Pek-Xian.

Service was perfect and the beds were amazing. Loved the use of chinese opera in the safety demo.

They provided a hotel for my stop over but never told me about it so I had booked and paid for the Sheraton at PEK. Wish they had told me in advance.

My only criticism was their inflight entertainment system was pretty mickey mouse and old movies.

Otherwise the J class ticket (advance purchase one) was the right price just less than $3K. and far less than A|C.
