There were 3 Chicago-based flight attendants working in F on this flight--all seemed busy on the side of door 1L; the purser even asked one of the FA's to please move a bit so that I could cross over to the other side of the aisle where my seat was so once I was on the right side of the aircraft, I was on my own.
Really, just write it up and send it in. You obviously feel wronged and feel that this is symptomatic of a greater issue (I haven't seen employee seat poaching as you describe it and have never found an employee seating in my F seat), so send in a complaint. Asking FT for everyone's opinion and then engaging in the debate that is destined to occur doesn't really do much to resolve your complaint does it?
