Fenito, I appreciate your post and words to the manager. Trust me, I have been there...done that. I have a letter of warning in my file because of it. I told one of my old supervisors one day that in 10 years in the Army I had not heard the term "insubordination" used as much as I had in the first week that she was there. So many of the supervisors and managers are so insecure about that their jobs and their authority here that their only comeback to rational criticism is "You are being insubordinate". Of course here at SEA it was due to the fact that nearly all of our "supervisors" and "managers" were in acting positions and were afraid to let upper management know that they were incompetant boobs.
What I do when I get the urge to talk with management is to go over to the nearest cement pole and beat my head against it. I get much more satisfaction from that and feel a little more like I have accomplished something.
