I was talking with one of my coworkers. A friend of her 17 year-old son had the same experience in Cincinnati this past weekend. In an odd way, it made me feel better. At least I wasn't the only person to go through it.

I'm not sure how will handle it. But I have this other guy's name and email.

Mats -- I would agree with another poster here and suggest contacting the Covington, Kentucky, Police Dept (or Kentucky State Police, or whichever local law enforcement agency has jurisdiction over CVG -- Hebron, KY PD perhaps? -- not 100% sure because of it's location) with a complaint. At the very least, bring it to their attention, and have the other individual this happened to make a report as well.

I've had something similar happen during a screening secondary screening (SSSS passenger) and I honestly regret not contacting the local PD at the time. (this was after 9/11 when the private contractor/TSA takeover was occuring). Looking back at it, I wish I would of contacted the local PD instead of being silent about it to the authorities (and complaining to others).

Even if it was a mistake, it shouldn't of happened.

Best,
