Sitting in a PEK resto atm using their meal voucher. At checkin they announced a 1-hour delay and gave a voucher without questions. I find them overly generous to offer CNY70 for an hour's delay...is this standard practice? coz I have been thru more delays with CX/KA and never did I receive anything without request on my part.


FYI the two remaining KA departures of the day from PEK (990 and 975) are cancelled and passengers rebooked onto my flight (993). Any reasons why and how can they accommodate that much cancelled pax into a 333?
