Just got off the phone with a second support person (Carlos in TX) who said to turn off "Automatic Network" in the phone's settings if you aren't connected to a partnered network. Movistar is not partnered, but both Vodafone and Orsnge are. I switched to Orange and now have LTE.
Thanks for the data/link. Looks like very dependent on partner network. UK person still throttled. I hope the kinks get worked out before my 7/10 arrival in UK. Anyone know who the t-mobile partners in UK are?
