Otherwise, I'd be suspicious that you lost the seat to a 360, perhaps traveling with family. A 360 agent is more likely to have the power to boot people from seats to clear out desirable seats for their 360 clients, but if this needs to be done, they should at least try to avoid doing it to a DM.
I agree with you that DL *should* partially undo the "mistake" by booting someone with lower status from C+, but remember that kettles pay large fees for C+ seats.
I would escalate as I do suspect Shena when stuff like this happens. You'll probably never get the full story of what happened--indeed, I'm surprised that DL told you when it happened--but if someone did this against policy, they might be the recipient of some retraining.
No, I did not call in on the 21st. The DM line told me an agent mistakenly cancelled my seat selection and there was no note or reasoning (e.g. booted out for 360); I find it hard to believe they booted me out in favor of a 360 fam because the seat next to me was also occupied and why boot a DM when you can boot someone else? Who else can I escalate this to? Should I have agent rouletted?
