I have Nexus, but IME, depends. I've heard doc checkers (at YYZ) specifically calling for NEXUS and GE to use the security line before, and seen other times where they specifically only allowed Nexus. Without an actual GE card though, OP can forget about that line. And also IME, the Nexus security at YYZ is the absolute slowest - they seem to stop the belt and examine every bag in detail - more so than the regular lines. Only faster then the family line, which the folks at YYZ frequently force me to use if I have a stroller (and the baby), even through with it, I'm still faster than many of the folks in the Nexus line.

Yes, there would be a trusted traveler line. Note pre-clearance TT lines tend to have gotten rid of all of the Nexus machines anyway, and only have the GE kiosks.
