How about job satisfaction?
How long can these people continue to play the charade? They say the job is to make us safer, but once you look at the facts, you soon realize their job is to "make us FEEL safer".
After awhile, your brain gets in the way, and you stop doing this wasteful job. Pay or no pay, eventually you either get a life, or you become a drone, which of course does not add to any increased safety.</font>
There is quite a bit of truth to what you say. I found the job to be quite boring at times. However, there were those who fit the job and the job fit them.
Thankfully I am more than qualified, and educated, for other positions and so found one.
I will not argue over making anyone "feel" safer, for that is what the TSA was set up to do. For if the public did not "feel" safe after 9-11 the airlines would have been finished and Osama and Co. would have achieved one step in their goal of destroying our economy.
They are doing the same thing in Saudi Arabia right now. I see on the news that the analysts believe they made a mistake in bombing the muslim areas. I think it was a wisely calculated move. The Saudi economy depends on foreign workers, be they muslim or not. By bombing their living areas and causing them to flee the country, the Saudi economy fails and the royal family is then weakened and could fall from within. Maybe I am looking to much into it, but my time spent there showed me that they depend exclusively on foreign workers to make the economy work.
