It is more than likely the economy that is fueling the exodus. The screeners I know who left did so to take other jobs.

Also the TSA is moving toward a majority of part-time employees and are giving a number of screeners the choice of going part-time or finding other work. Jobs are out there and those who have skills and a desire to succeed will move on rather than go part-time.

Not to mention that NCS Pearson lied through their teeth when they hired the screeners. Plus most are STILL having pay problems after over a year. Not ONE screener I have ever met felt that what they were doing was un-american or a job that mistreated anyone. It is just a job. A "career" is just a job you hold for a long time.

What will be left are those who are underqualified for other jobs or are riding the money train till the end of the line. Hardly a motivated workforce.
