I'm booked on a return LHR to JFK Upper Class (A340-600) in a few weeks; first ever Virgin Atlantic flight. Does anyone know what sort of options there are for powering/charging electronics in the seat? I'm seeing references to the older empower ports but I'm really not interested in buying one of those for just this flight. I haven't flown on a plane that had those ports (working ones anyway) in years.

Do they have a USB port(s) as well that might be used for charging a phone? I've got a 12" MacBook and iPad so both can be powered from a USB port (I have all the right cables already). I know those may not recharge but just slowing the battery drain on that leg will be enough for me to help pass the time.
