Don't know about EK accuracy on SeatGuru, but for a few years now, it has not been the most accurate website for some airlines.
You can get a free subscription to Expert Flyer and this will usually show the correct seat map for your particiular flight. Unfortunately the EK Source is not fully up to date with seat maps (no 2 class A380 seat maps).
As
kq747 says, because you are not getting the option to see the upper deck, your flight may have been switched to a 3 class plane. Or maybe flaky IT....
