However if you paid an additional AF (on top of your wife's $450 primary) for the additional card, it should be the dark blue Reserve card, not the silver Platinum version.
If "paid for it" just means that your wife paid to upgrade to the Reserve card (so you pay $450 total AF on the entire account), that does not automatically upgrade the associated AU cards.
Pretty sure we paid the additional fee, on top of the $450 for her card, for my card. As mentioned, I never checked before because I've had SC access via other means. But that access will be ending in late November.
I mentioned the lack of a SkyMiles number because neither my card nor hers has a SM number on them.
Until now, neither of us had any idea that there were different Delta Reserve companion cards with different benefits.
