I have a -$500 credit balance in one chase card.

Instead of calling to ask them to send me a check, I saw they have an option for "balance transfer" at 0% APR for few months.

I don't need a traditional balance transfer or even care about 0% APR -- I am looking to do this soley to avoid the hassle of calling to have them send me a check or waiting for a secure message to process.

If I put in the card number of another chase card in my profile that does have a balance, will this work?

Or does Chase not allow me to transfer the balance online because the account I want to currently use has a credit balance?

Anybody have experience with this?
