Well it's all a bit of a farce as it stands as the tiers are for Oneworld 'loyalty' rather than BA.
In order for the hangers to be weeded out without annoying the Oneworld alliance a separate BA metal only tier would be a good idea. It would allow those who actually fly BA to receive some extra special attention.
