The posters who recommended disregarding the super-negative comments were spot on. Some people just can't be pleased. I've flown D1 a number of times and it's a very nice experience! The seats shouldn't be an issue as you are flying Westbound..ie daytime flight. That said, I'm 6"1 and do ok in the 767 D1 seat on overnight flights. Regarding the service, I find the D1 FAs to be first rate; very friendly and attentive without being over the top. Congratulations on your first business class/D1 flight! Hope you enjoy the experience..
