Spiff, after many months of being a baggage screener, I have now been thrust back into the passenger screening mess. I couldn't agree with you more. I really don't understand the mentality of the "secondary screening syndrome". To me, it's not at all effective, and just pisses pax off that much more. As you say, hopefully this will go away soon, but don't hold your breath
