The one thing that really bugs me about United Airlines is the lack of a full service Premier check in desk.
Delta Sky Priority is a full service station with agents and kiosks off to the side. Same with American, Jet Blue, Virgin America, Air Canada exc.
United has a different system. There is a self-check in area for regular passengers, a area labeled "Additional Services" for economy passengers, which is basically traditional full service, but no one really knows what to do at Premier Access. Personally, I like cardstock boarding passes and agent interaction, but with those Kiosks in front of the counters, it makes it difficult.
