Yeah, I'll be in Istanbul - it's for business reasons so I don't have a lot of leisure time while I'm there and will probably be just rushing around with my colleagues but I wanted to be prepared. I know you said it wasn't an issue, but it may comfort you to know that you'll probably be fine in Istanbul as a woman on your own - I've never had an issue, nor have any of my female friends who live there or regularly travel there!
