You give your name to the breakfast hostess, who checks you off her list of elite guests, informing you that "COLD items are included, HOT items are available for an additional $7." Supposedly, you can get $10 credit at the coffee stand as well. Front desk made it very clear when I asked, "No More Seaports restaurant credit, period!"
Thanks for the update, sad as it is. We've stayed at this property many times over the past 10 years or so. Since we live within a two-hour drive of SEA, the reason for our stay is an early-hour departure before there's any opportunity of breakfast; thus, the evening Seaports credit has been a welcome alternative to dining elsewhere - basically, a glass of wine with dinner.
Some bean counter must spend an inordinate amount of time figuring the extent to which the elite bennies can be minimized.
