We joke constantly about spend that should be counted as travel (2x pts) but is not. Most recent big item was a bareboat sailing charter in the Caribbean - $5k for a week. Since you are only paying for the boat (no crew), you are paying for a mode of transportation. Transpiration = travel, right?! Sadly, that was not the case - 1x pts for us
