I didn't get (or expect points) with Ritz Carlton (Battery Park) but I did get the free wifi I'm "entitled" to. No points, no drinks vouchers, no nuffin' with Accor (when staying at Novotel Times Square) but Accor do state clearly in their T&C that points etc only apply to direct bookings. Same with Hilton (when staying at Doubletree Toronto and Hampton Inn Washington DC).
