Prices will go up for passengers with the fall in Sterling. Lack of clarity or any stability in relation to the markets in general. A company that's split across EU and soon-to-be non-EU. Against a backdrop of absolute political turmoil where nobody can predict the outcome. As such, travel plans for a number of people will be put on hold. Entirely related to this, I've held off booking travel for later in the year because of an associated uncertainty in the property market (I'm selling my house, or at least I was..).

It's no wonder the ratings on airlines have dropped.

I wouldn't touch IAG shares with a bargepole right now. Maybe when they drop a further 50% though.

I don't share the view the company is solid, because of all of the above. I'm currently looking at my Barclays shares, bought at £8 a few years ago because the company itself was 'solid' on paper. They are trading right now at £1.24.
