Not so sure youīll find much or even something on the luxury-market. First you have to decide if you only do Malta or also Gozo. On Malta the Xara seems to be for many here the choice. Itīs not on the ocean, itīs in Mdina, a beautiful old city. I didnīt stay so far and judging from pictures Iīm not to keen about it. I stayed at the Intercontinental years ago and wasnīt impressed. On Gozo (absolutely worth a 2 or 3 night visit) Kempinski San Lawrenz seems to be more or less the only Option. Well run hotel with good comfort.
