The standard boarding order at Delta goes like this:
- Passengers needing extra time or assistance
- Passengers traveling with infants or small children in car seats or strollers (which often seems to mean any child who can't grow a beard yet)
- PREM - First/Business and any Diamond Medallions
- SKY - Comfort + and any Gold/Platinum Medallions
- Zone 1 - Silver Medallions and Delta branded AmEx card holders
- Zone 2 - more or less everyone else
- Zone 3 - The people who must have really pissed someone off....
Ludicrous. I know this is the boarding order, and have accepted that this is the boarding order, but that somehow doesn't change the fact that seeing it written out makes me appreciate the ludicrousness like I've never seen it before. Why can't they just call the fifth Zone to board Zone 5???
