Is $250 the final price with all the rental charges for BOS Airport or was it the base rental cost only?

Earlier this month I rented a Hertz car with pick up and drop off at BOS. The rental cost was $286.50 for 9 days. BUT the fees were $156.69 on top of the rental.

The fees were:

Concession Fee Recovery__$39.60

Vehicle License Fee_______$22.20
Energy Surcharge_________$1.49
Customer Facility Fee_____$54.00
Motor Vehicle Lease Tax___$10.60
State Tax 6.25%_________$28.16
Total_______________$156.69

The fees added 55% to the rental.


To make matters worse, they charged me $46.20 for gas when I had returned the car full.
