Well the fact is that BA regularly changes the departure times and combinations of not just BA15 and 16 but also BA11 and 12. Where necessary they alter MCT at SIN - and this is in order to allow a single PNR to be constructed with the various potential combinations. So yes, if you are going to chuck in a 2nd PNR, on your own head be it. Or go HBO. My guess is that Sydney check in will still allow 2 PNR check-in unofficially, but London check in will not.
