Heading to Bucharest/Romania for the first time with a friend and shacking up at the Sheraton from June 28th to July 2nd. Based on the reviews and feedback above, this looks like a great SPG option with excellent facilities.

A couple of questions to those who've poked around the city/hotel:
- I've seen reviews that happy hour in the lounge is 'extended' - in your experience, when have you seen drinks out?
- I know the location isn't the most central, but how walkable is the local area?
- Any tips on Bucharest in general? I've read that it isn't the safest but I'm sure a little prudence and care should allay any fears, no?
