Spoke to a UBER drive. He said to type where u want to meet up etc in the special instruction / comment box in the uber app. Thus they will know where to look for u.

I mentioned to him it was hard to get uber to pick me up from shopping malls as they had multiple exits/pick up points and advised me to type in which pick up point ill be exiting from.
