American is nothing if not consistent. Every American flight I've been on for the past 2 years has been late due to maintenance issues. While my sample is small ( 8 flights ) I believe that there is a problem with a record like this.
So, .... Eight flights in two years is one flight every three months. Hardly merits a thread title of "American Maintenance issues once again" IMO.

I do stay away from lottery tickets, but it's more than bad luck I think. Almost all of my flights have been A Eagle, but even so you'd think they would be concerned about the brand. True that 30 minutes isn't a big deal, but we didn't know that at the time I posted.
If you were 30 minutes late on EVERY flight that you've taken at the rate of one every three months for two years, I still don't think that that's a lot.
