I doubt that they support debit. I saw someome swipe their debit and it authorised without PIN entry. I can try it out though when my local stores get EMV enabled.
I also went to Subway today. This location has EMV contact and contactless enabled (yay!!). The employees were very distracted though, and it took them a long time to understand that I just need to tap my phone. At least I didn't have an experience like AllieKat. :P
On that note, I was able to take the charge slip as well as the receipt. I'll upload a scan when I get home.
