Dear BA Flyertalk members,

I have greatly benefited from your advice and assistance over the years but I cannot claim to have posted much on this forum. However, I would be really grateful for your help once again. Yesterday I arrived on the BA 2233 into Bermuda from LGW. My bag was apparently left behind at Gatwick and I was assured that it would come on today's flight. Indeed when I searched on "world tracer" my search result indicated that my bag would be on today's flight from LGW. However, I have just had a telephone call to say my bag was not on that flight and that ground staff at BDA had received a telex from BA saying that they "were having problems loading bags at LGW onto the BDA flight" and, consequently, my bag did not arrive again. Upon probing the BA ground staff member at BDA indicated that other bags did not make it on today's flight either but I am sceptical. I flew CW and I'm a Silver member (not that either of these factors appear to count for anything in this situation). Does anyone have any advice or information on the best way to ensure that my bag is on tomorrow's flight? Thank you all in advance.
