Was recently flying DELTA out of EWR and saw the SWISS signage by Gate 46.

I asked the Gate Agent and she said that in EWR DELTA still does the ground handling for SWISS and has for years.

Maybe dates back to a time when DELTA and SWISS or one of its former incarnations were working together.
